What is a travel expense claim (reiseregning)?
A reiseregning is used to claim reimbursement for work-related travel costs — meals, accommodation, transport and other expenses. It must state the purpose, the dates and include receipts.
Do employees in Norway have a right to leave?
Yes. The Working Environment Act (arbeidsmiljøloven) gives a right to pregnancy leave, parental leave, care leave and educational leave. The application is normally submitted in writing with notice in advance.
